How we build
Most good ideas die not because they’re wrong, but because no one was positioned to own them long enough to prove it.
Nerchure exists to close that gap. We are research-led — a small team who spend months, not days, on a sector before we write a line of a business plan. When the research holds up, we fund and staff the business ourselves.
The four stages
-
Research
We spend months on a sector before writing a line of a business plan, looking for a structural gap rather than a trend. Most ideas do not survive this stage, and that is the point of having one.
-
Build
A small founding team, funded and staffed entirely by Nerchure, ships a first version inside six months. The venture carries its own name and its own product from the first day.
-
Nurture
We hold majority ownership while the business finds its footing, and stay for as long as that takes rather than to a schedule.
-
Independent
Once a venture can raise, hire and govern itself, it leaves — fully independent, with its own brand, its own board, and no obligation to look or act like Nerchure.
Why we own outright
We hold full ownership while a venture is finding its footing, because outside capital too early distorts a young company’s incentives. A business that has to answer to outside shareholders in its first year optimises for the next round rather than for the problem it was built to solve.
Each business we build has already left, or is designed to leave. Nerchure’s own brand is the one thing that stays behind.
